Frequently Asked Questions

There are common questions that folks have when visiting Highpointe. Here are answers to some of them.

What are weekend services like? We work hard to make sure every weekend service is creative and relevant to your life. When you come a greeter will welcome you at the door. If you need help finding our nursery or children's service they will help you find your way. Our music and vocal team will begin the service with contemporary music that is inspiring to the soul and excellent in presentation. Our Lead Pastor will teach from the Bible on issues that face all of us everyday. Video and props are used in the teaching and the approach is relaxed and non-judgmental.

Will I have to say anything, sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way? If you are visiting, we do not ask you to give a dime when we pass the offering bag. We will not make you wear a visitor badge or stand up so that everyone can see you. We would like you to fill out the connection card in our weekend worship guide so that we can assist you in your visit at Highpointe.

What about my young children? While you are enjoying an exciting worship experience, your children will be well cared for in a safe and clean, age-appropriate environment.

What should I wear? Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. People wear everything from business casual to jeans and T-shirts. If you prefer not to wear ties or a dress, leave them in the closet and come in what you feel comfortable in.

How do I get to the church? (click here for an easy-to-follow-map)  Highpointe Church - formerly known as Lakeside Assembly

Do you have a mid-week service? Yes, on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., we have ministry for middle school and 7:30 pm for high school students; a nursery ministry and kids clubs for older children;  Catalyst School of Ministry for all other adults with practical teaching and biblical studies to choose from.

How do I get connected? Coming to a new church with a sizable crowd of people already attending, for some, can be a bit overwhelming. How can anyone get connected, find out more about the church, meet new people and build relationships?
We would like to suggest that you check out our friendly and inviting small groups. There’s certain to be one in your generally area.
